Controls (Electrical) Engineer

With numerous ongoing and upcoming projects, we’re looking to grow our team. We’re looking for experienced controls engineers with PLC expertise.

Your day-to-day might consist of the following:

  • Developing PLC, HMI, and/or SCADA logic to customer standards
  • Onsite machine start-up assistance, including programming, debugging, and support
  • Electrical controls design
  • Project documentation (prints, manuals, programs)
  • Working with others on the team and with customers to review issues and develop solutions

Required Skills


  • Eligible for TN status (very important)
  • Knowledge of PLC logic (Siemens, Rockwell, Phoenix Contact, Telemecanique, etc.)
  • Experience in industrial controls and automation systems, preferably for the automotive industry
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Diploma or University Degree in related field (engineering, mechatronics, etc.)
  • Ability to travel and work within the United States
  • Access to your own vehicle



Experience with the following skill sets:

  • Machine design using AutoCAD or E-PLAN
  • SCADA such as Wonderware or Ignition, factory automation systems, or MES systems
  • CNC, especially Siemens 840D or Fanuc CNC’s
  • Programming robots such as ABB or Fanuc
  • SiFACS (GM) or FAST (Ford)
